Support Services
Our Place of Refuge Inc. provides supportive services and resource connections designed to help men and women achieve stability, independence, and successful community reintegration. Participants receive individualized support based on their needs, including employment and résumé assistance, identification and document support, life-skills development, transportation coordination, educational resources, driver’s license and GED assistance, veteran resource connections, and referrals for counseling, recovery support, and other community-based services. Our goal is to help each participant develop the skills, resources, and confidence needed to move toward long-term self-sufficiency.

The Impact
Stable housing can be an important foundation for men and women rebuilding their lives and working toward independence. Our Place of Refuge Inc. provides a structured, supportive independent living environment where participants can focus on employment, education, life skills, personal goals, and successful community reintegration.
By combining housing stability with individualized support and connections to community resources, we help participants address barriers, strengthen self-sufficiency, and prepare for permanent independent housing. Our goal is to create an environment where individuals have the opportunity, accountability, and resources needed to move forward and build a more stable future.
