“Building Second Chances” is a hands-on, community-driven event where volunteers, local businesses, and community members come together for a day of action to help with the renovation of the historic property. The event is part fundraiser, part volunteer effort, aimed at bringing the community together to make a tangible impact on the project.

1. Volunteers can come to the property and help with specific renovation tasks, such as painting, landscaping, light carpentry, and cleaning. Skilled tradespeople can volunteer their time to handle more specialized tasks. Our purpose is to have significant progress on the renovation while engaging the community directly in the work. 

2. We will host a BBQ for all volunteers and attendees for a donation with all proceeds going to the renovation project. The purpose is to celebrate the community’s efforts, provide an enjoyable experience for all, and raise additional funds.
